Want more Effective Meetings? First, Warm up the Room

Meetings are essential for anyone in a leadership role and the way a meeting is conducted is up to the person leading it.  Many leaders dive straight into the agenda without first 'warming up' the room.  This tactic, while time effective, might not empower everyone to have a voice and contribute to the discussion, which can have a negative impact on the effectiveness of the meeting.
